As my second year interning at NextEra Energy, Inc. comes to a close, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible experience that I had. This summer has been filled with valuable lessons, professional acumen, and meaningful connections.Working with the Financial Planning and Analysis Strategic Projects team, I delved into SAP S/4 HANA, utilizing BOBJs and Microsoft Excel extensively, and began exploring SAP Analytics Cloud. One of the most rewarding aspects of my internship was crafting and presenting a detailed PowerPoint to executives, highlighting my projects and the insights I gained throughout my experience.I've had the privilege of working alongside talented interns and dedicated full-time employees who have helped me learn and have also become great friends and mentors. The support, collaboration, and camaraderie have made this internship truly memorable.I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been a part of my internship journey! A special thank you to Ashlie Picon, William Gough, and the NextEra Energy, Inc. College Relations team for having me return this summer and continue my contributions to the company. I am extremely proud to say that I presented my internship project for NextEra Energy, Inc. yesterday to executives! These past 10 weeks have been an invaluable experience that I will cherish as being a major catalyst in my professional career!I would love to extend my thanks to Ashlie Picon, Brad Sobel, the College Relations Team at NextEra Energy, Inc., and all of my fellow interns for building up my internship experience to be as informative and exciting as it has been!
