TV presenter Alex Jones didn't hold back her thoughts on Hollywood A-lister Jared Leto, criticising his manners during an interview on The One Show three years ago as a sign that he was "not been brought up well".
Jones found him to be arrogant and too self-absorbed at the time.

In a recent discussion, Jones reminisced about memorable highlights of her career, confessing that interviews with UK talent have proven more thrilling than those with major screen icons.
She dished out some behind-the-scenes insights saying: "You know, we've had people on that are big Hollywood stars. I mean, last week we had Robert De Niro and, he was lovely, but he was lovely afterwards," when sharing tales from the set.
The 47-year old mother of three then singled out Jared Leto for criticism while chatting on the Netmums Podcast: "He was there in sort of dressed as one of the Three Musketeers and he had all this, like, I don't know, Gucci, big shirt, sleeves billowing. I mean, he was so full of himself."

Jones bluntly expressed her disapproval, adding: "And I thought, no, no, no, no. Our audience are nice people and, they deserve better than this. And, okay, you might be like a huge celebrity star and, you know, you've done all these films, but there's. It doesn't cost to be polite and nice. Anybody who can't bring those simple skills to the table, I'm out. I'm like, no, sorry, you've not been brought up well, then."

Alex has previously expressed her disdain for the American actor in public. During an appearance on Josh Widdicombe and Rob Beckett's Parenting Hell podcast in March 2023, when asked about her "worst guest", Alex didn't hesitate to name "Jared Leto".
When queried if he was a difficult guest, Alex lamented: "He was dressed in Gucci and whatever and just so dismissive. He put himself on like a different plane to everybody else. I just can't bear people like that."
Upon seeing a picture of Jared on Zoom, Josh couldn't help but exclaim: "Oh my word, look what he's wearing!" [He's] dressed like a musketeer or something!"
Rob joined in with a chuckle: "He looks like a Shakespearean actor. Oh, he looks hard work."
Alex concurred before adding: "I don't know whether I referenced musketeer early on and then from there it was a sharp downhill. With some people, you cannot warm them up for love or money, he was one of them."
An interview in 2022 became noticeably uncomfortable after Alex pointed out that Jared was sporting a white blouse similar to hers.
She greeted the Morbius star enthusiastically, saying: "Oh my goodness, look, you got the memo, the frilly shirt, I like it, yes."
The conversation took an awkward turn when Alex confessed she thought the sci-fi film might be too "scary" for her young son to watch.
Changing topics, she talked about his role in the Apple TV+ series WeCrashed, which is inspired by the story of WeWork's founder, saying: "Now on paper, it doesn't sound the most exciting, but this guy you play is really extreme, isn't he? How would you sum him up?"
Jared, the 2014 Best Supporting Actor Oscar winner for Dallas Buyers Club, was quick to retort, saying: "Hold on, hold on, first Morbius is too scary, and now WeCrashed is too boring?"
Alex then threw down the gauntlet, telling him to "prove" them wrong, leading Jared to confidently declare: "I will prove you wrong. You watch them, and I guarantee one thing, you will definitely not be bored."
